Kent Bartels is a 3rd generation home builder and remodeler.  In 1988 he began a workstudy program in high school working for his family construction business in Hawaii, learning each trade hands on, with quality not quantity being the goal.  While attending Texas A&M University, Kent worked as a carpenter for 4 years framing over 120 custom homes until he completed his B.S. in Construction Science. Upon graduating, Kent took a job with a large home builder in Denver, Colorado and then as a project manager for the largest townhome developer in Denver.  He was then finally able to move on to his true love, high end custom homes.  As a managing partner, he was able to manage the intense detail and quality demanded of the dream homes that he crafted.

After starting a family, the need to be near family and friends led Kent to move to the Houston area, where he again began work with a large home builder.  Kent quickly became the Division President of the West Houston territory and managed the sales and construction of over 1,200 homes. It eventually became clear that Kent's passion was working one-on-one with clients from design through completion and follow-up service that is only a phone call away.  The enjoyment of creating a building process, be it large or small, that is fluid and flexible, yet executed with efficiency and unsurpassed attention to detail creates an experience far different from most contractors.

This is why in 2008 Bartels Construction was born in the Katy/Cinco Ranch area.  Beginning solely on personal referrals, Kent Bartels has created a substantial catalog of elated customers who continue to call back for additional contruction or remodeling services. There is no finer compliment, nor any greater satisfaction than  the existence of such a builder/client relationship.
